PRISM, the insider PR Girl training...

If you have been following The Pink Tank for a while now, you would have seen my post on the websites any PR Girl should know... and this featured PR Couture, a PR blog by PR fashionista, Crosby Noricks where she offers advice and insight to aspiring and experienced fashion PRs.

It's no wonder that PR comes up regularly as one of the most stressful jobs on the planet. Of course, when you're just starting out, you've got an extra set of worries - figuring out what aspect of the industry you're into, impressing your boss with great ideas and results, not to mention building media relationships and staying on top of digital trends. It's enough to make even the most enlightened PR Girl go headfirst into overwhelm.

Also, the sheer pace of public relations means that oftentimes, graduates or entry-level professionals are left without the mentorship and guidance they need feel confident and strong.

So, to offer some training and insights, Crosby Noricks of PR Couture is stepping in to provide a course and unique opportunity for entry-level PR Girls to get support, network, practice PR skills and develop a crystal clear career plan. PRISM is a six-week virtual course that starts 6 July and includes weekly assignments and live coaching calls. Plus, after completing the course, you can continue to get access to Crosby and fellow PRISM alumni as part of a growing network of PR Girls dedicated to supporting one another.

It's an incredible opportunity, a smart way to kick off your dream PR career and brush up on your skills.

If you are interested in registering for the course or finding out more about the course you can  want to be sure you have a chance to sign up as spaces are limited (last time the course sold out in 2 days!), so check out the course and decide if PRISM is right for you!

Bobbi Brown favourites

When it comes to long-wear eye shadows, the Maybelline colour tattoo are good, but they aren't quite the original, Bobbi Brown. At £19.00, the Bobbi Brown long-wear cream shadow aren't easy on the bank balance, but they are long lasting, highly-pigmented and a velvety-smooth finish. Sometimes I double up on using the Glacier shade as a base primer to use a Maybelline colour tattoo shade over the top as they aren't as long lasting.

My advice would be to invest in the Bobbi Brown long-wear colours in classic shades that you will get lots of wear out of and opt for the drug store Maybelline alternatives for shades you'll reach for on the odd occasion as use a neutral Bobbi shade as a base.

My all time favourite go-to shades for Bobbi Brown long-wear cream shadow are:
1. Sandy Gold
2. Pink Oyster
3. Glacier

What are your favourite cream eye shadows at the moment, do you prefer the Maybelline or Bobbi?

Make me blush...favourite blushers

Blush is a make up staple of choice for me and there are few favourites that I always go back to.

Clockwise:
MAC Powder Blush in Pinch Me
This MAC blush is a dark natural pink, highly pigmented and a long lasting finish. My only gripe, it smells a little bit like talc...

Bobbi Brown Blush Nectar
Possibly my favourite blush EVER! It pretty and pink, highly pigmented and is a pretty natural pink shade too. The only gripe, it's the most expensive of all of my favourite blushes!

Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Morale
This Illamasqua blush is so pigmented I'm not sure I'll ever finish it- the colour is strong, it can look a little overloaded if you don't dust excess of of the blush brush before applying. As with all Illamasqua products it's long-lasting and smells devine.

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks Powder pink
A cult product in the beauty world, Pot Rouge is so versatile, I use it on my lips for a natural colour too. I tend to powder to set my foundation usually so I go for a set powder blush, but if I am looking for a sweep of colour and a dewy finish, this is always my go to.

Stila Cosmetics Convertible Color - Rose
Another cult cream blush product that is completely versatile. It's very pigmented and needs quite a bit of blending to create a flawless finish but also looks great as a lip colour too. This comes in 16
shades, so there are plenty of suitable shades for every skin type too.

What blushes are you loving at the moment?
